Product Description
Introduction ONSLAUGHT was formed in Bristol, England in 1982, centered around Nige Rockett (G). They developed thrash metal that mixed elements of hardcore punk and NWOBHM, creating an aggressive sound with memorable melodies scattered throughout. They debuted in 1985 with the album "Power From Hell." Following that, they released their second album, "The Power," in 1986, gradually making a name for themselves in the thrash metal scene. After that, the band sought to add a new vocalist to take their music to the next level. The new vocalist they joined was Steve Grimmett, who had left GRIM REAPER at the time, and this album, "In Search Of Sanity," was released as the band's third album. With Steve Grimmett joining, the band's musical style shifted from their previous hardcore/thrash to a more melodic power/progressive direction. This proved successful, and the album reached a peak position of 46th on the UK charts, becoming the band's biggest hit. It is a landmark work that solidified the band's popularity and remains one of their most representative albums, still talked about today. For this reissue, the album will be a two-disc set, with Disc 1 containing the main album and Disc 2, a bonus disc containing a live recording from 1989, which took place after the album's release. Notably, the live recording is a previously unreleased recording in Japan. This album, which has been out of print for many years and difficult to obtain, will be reissued in Japan for the first time in 29 years. Also on the same day, several other masterpieces related to Steve Grimmett will be reissued: Lionsheart's "LIONSHEART," and Grim Reaper's "See You In Hell," "Fear No Evil," and "Rock You To Hell." A total of five titles will be reissued at once, which British metal fans and Grimmett fans should pay attention to.
