Content Introduction Formed in Gothenburg, Sweden, the mecca of metal, and debuting with the album "The Battle Of The Ivory Plains" (2001), DRAGONLAND gained popularity as a leading up-and-coming band spearheading the booming Scandinavian melodic metal scene of the 2000s. After a hiatus of over 10 years since their previous album "Under The Grey Banner" (2011), they have finally completed their long-awaited new album. Olof M?rk, the multi-instrumentalist, composer, and central figure of the band, is now widely known for his great success as the guitarist of AMARANTHE. The lineup for this album, including Olof, is Jonas Hejjaert (Vo), Elias Holmlid (Keys), Jesse Lindskog (G), Anders Hammer (B), and Johan N??ez (Ds), with the exception of the drummer, being the same members as the previous album. The band has previously performed in Japan twice, in 2003 and 2018, at festivals. After their first visit, the band members developed an interest in Japanese culture, and their cover of X JAPAN's "Rusty Nail" on their album "Starfall" (2004) became a topic of discussion at the time, leading to their reputation as a band with a fondness for Japan.
