Product Description
Contents: This is the first new album in four years from Leaf, a hard rock band from Glastonbury, England, featuring Jesse Wood (G), son of Ronnie Wood of the Rolling Stones, since "Revelation." Formed in 1993. Before the release of their debut album in 1995, they were highly acclaimed from the start, having supported superstars such as the Rolling Stones, Paul Weller, and Soundgarden. Their second album, "Grow" (1997), reached number 1 in the UK, and their follow-up, "Rise" (1999), reached number 3. They disbanded around 2003 but resumed activities in 2010. In 2014, Jesse Wood, son of Ronnie Wood of the Rolling Stones and a former Faces player, joined the band. In 2018, they released "Revelation," a comeback album with the lineup including Jesse, and this is their second comeback album. The producer is Andy Taylor of Duran Duran. Andy is also widely known as a producer, having worked on numerous Rod Stewart albums and, in the hard rock genre, on early Thunder albums. As can be heard in the lead single "Shoot Me Your Ace," their signature style of bluesy, gritty vocals, yet poppy sound is still intact. This album will appeal to longtime hard rock fans. ??Track Listing?? 1. SHOOT ME YOUR ACE 2. WHEN CAN I SEE YOU AGAIN 3. REFUGEE 4. BEST OF ME 5. WOLFMAN 6. HOLD BACK THE MORNING 7. RIGHT ON 8.
