Without hinting at any advanced technique, he approaches Bach's sublime musical world with smooth phrasing and a firm sense of structure. In the third movement of the Violin Sonata, he breaks down the double stops into eighth notes and dotted quarter notes, which is interesting as it presents a different aspect from the original. -- Content (from "CD Journal" database) This is the third J.S. Bach album by a charismatic star who has appeared in the horn world after a long time. This time, there is no challenging and aggressive image like the previous two albums, and it is pleasing to hear that he is enjoying Bach's works. Rather than pushing technique to the forefront, it has the feel of appreciating the charm of Bach. The Violin Sonata BWV1018 is a favorite of his to play in recitals, and you can hear a natural flow and supple music. Throughout the album, he creates a moist atmosphere while freely controlling the rich tone. Therefore, the phrase "blown away" in the tagline might not be entirely accurate. The music is filled with gentle and warm sounds. It's a combination that's like a mixed martial arts match, but the organ and brass instruments naturally go well together, so it's not surprising. It's also interesting that the virtuoso B?rta has chosen tones that don't blend in with the horn, but rather create a sense of tension.
