Contents Format: CD Specifications: Jewel Case Media Reviews etc. Jacob Kohler's encounter with Mitsunori Yagawa, the owner and tuner of a piano that survived the atomic bombing, in Hiroshima three years ago, and his playing of the atomic bomb-surviving piano on the street at the Atomic Bomb Dome, was the catalyst. Inspired by his encounter with Hiroshima and Mitsunori Yagawa, the owner and tuner of the atomic bomb-surviving piano who travels the world for peace, he has completed a full album of all-original compositions. The recording was done on a miraculous atomic bomb-surviving piano that survived the atomic bombing 80 years ago. Live recordings were made at the Hiroshima Atomic Bomb Dome and the Atomic Bomb Piano Museum, with Jacob Kohler imbuing the album with his prayers for peace on the 80th anniversary of the bombing. The artwork is by Leon Terashima, a painter and musician from Slovakia. The work was inspired by Jacob Kohler's performance of "Kojo no Tsuki" (The Moon Over the Ruined Castle) at the Atomic Bomb Dome. It also contains the message that "as long as the moon shines, the Atomic Bomb Dome will continue to shine forever." (C)RS
