The album was primarily recorded at Donegal's Attica studio, with additional recording and post-production done at home. The album title comes from the lyric "the heart under its foot" in the song "Sore," reflecting the band's idea of ??making listeners feel like they are on a train emerging from a tunnel. Just Mustard is an Irish rock band formed in Dundalk in 2016. The members are Katie Ball (V), David Noonan (G), Mete Kalyon (G), Rob Clarke (B), and Shane Maguire (Dr).
