The album was produced by Sound Survayor, the label of Boris Jardine, who propelled Lisa Simone (daughter of Nina Simone) to European stardom, and the music director is Herv? Sam, who, like Lisa's work, enjoys Boris's strong trust. Herv?, a Senegalese blues musician who was nicknamed "Little BB King" since childhood, has created a captivating Memphis soul track that you wouldn't expect from a Senegalese-French producer.
