Packed with drum breaks...! This is the legendary album by Phrydderichs Phaelda, a band formed by a combination of teacher and student, centered around pianist and music teacher Frederick Shepers! Recorded in 1975, it features 6 tracks inspired by R&B and rock. Released entirely independently, the number of copies pressed was extremely small, and the original jacket is said to have been a truly DIY creation, with a hand-printed front and the members' signatures on the back. However, the content is absolutely superb, with every track being a masterpiece, from the drum break with its irregular time signature, to the heavy, driving bass, and the cool unison of electric piano and guitar in "Bruck," reminiscent of David Axelrod, to "Schlorg II An B," where a relaxed groove and a light jazz-rock style intertwine. 01.
