Many tracks are being released on CD for the first time, and bonus tracks include singles and alternate takes. This is the definitive series. Following Tribe and Wenha, Wendell Harrison founded the label Rebirth. While the Wenha era leaned towards a contemporary sound, as the label name Rebirth (meaning rebirth) suggests, this first release marks a return to jazz. Harrison's signature song, "Where Am I," and Tribe-era track "He's The One We All New" are presented with a fresh new interpretation.
