The Japanese edition includes lyrics, translations, liner notes, and bonus tracks. Formed in 1998 by students attending an art school in Estonia. They spent their student days listening to music by Sonic Youth, Stereolab, Wedding Present, and others, and in March 2001 they self-produced the CDR album "Wonder What Its Like" and released it only locally. That album became a hot topic among avid indie fans throughout Europe and in America, and their world debut album "In Solarium" was released in America and Japan. Despite being an independent release, this album achieved explosive sales and is still considered by many to be the best shoegaze album since My Bloody Valentine. After that, they continued to perform live mainly in Europe, and released music in Japan, the United States, and their home country of Estonia, gradually building a fanbase. Here in Japan, they have a wide range of fans, from enthusiastic shoegaze fans to pop fans. In 2005, they released the Japan-exclusive album "Sailing on a Grapefruit Lake," followed by their second world release, "Nature Heart Software," in 2006. In 2008, they released a split single with Ulrich Schnauss and their third world release, "After Summer," produced by Norman Blake of Teenage Fanclub, and finally made their long-awaited first visit to Japan. After a long hiatus, they released a split single with Rocketship in 2017 and their fourth world release, "Field Ceremony," their first new album in nine years. Celebrating their 20th anniversary, they made their first visit to Japan in 10 years. In 2020, their first new album in three years, "Empty Parks," was completed. This album was recorded in the USA and produced by John McEntire of Tortoise and The Sea and Cake. It will be released first in Japan and will include bonus tracks exclusive to the Japanese edition.
