Product Description
Introduction Two and a half years after their previous work, 'Volcano', the psychedelic rock band Temples from the Midlands, England, have completed their new album. Their third album, 'Hot Motion', is their first release since signing with ATO Records. 'Hot Motion' is their third album, following 'Sun Structures' (2014) and 'Volcano' (2017). Recording began at James Bagshaw's home in central England. "We started recording in the bedroom, then moved to the living room, and then to a dedicated space. We set up all the equipment in the same room so we could play more as a band. This had a big impact on the album's sound," says Tom Walmsley. 'Hot Motion' is a cohesive "album" for today's singles-heavy era. It is full of ideas, bursts of dynamic energy, and strikes a balance between immediate impact and lasting strength. Temples have created an auditory tapestry for the dark everyday. It's like a comforting, warm sanctuary away from the chaos of everyday information overload; 'Hot Motion' is a complex album made to be listened to again and again.
