About the Artist: Two Door Cinema Club was formed in County Down, Northern Ireland, by singer Alex Trimble, guitarist Sam Halliday, and bassist Kevin Baird, all of whom were 17-year-old students at the time. They signed with the French label Kitsune and released their debut album, *Tourist History*, in 2010. The album initially received little media attention but later went platinum in the UK. In 2012, they released their second album, *Beacon*, which reached number 1 on the Irish charts and number 2 on the UK charts. The album was also released in the US by Glassnote Records, reaching number 17 on the US charts. The band then moved to Parlophone/Transgressive. In 2016, they released their third album, *Gameshow*.
