About the Artist ??Members: Kazutetsu Takemura (ds), Jozo Yamada (tp), Shunsuke Ochi (b), Yuji Usui (gt) //// A four-member band from Hokkaido, formed in Sapporo in 2015. MAZIWARIS is led by Kazunori Takemura, currently one of the hottest drummers, who has earned the trust of various legends such as Sadao Watanabe, Fumio Itabashi, and Kosuke Mine! Trumpeter Jozo Yamada, who has known Takemura since childhood, has a history of winning the Sapporo City Jazz Championship and numerous overseas tours, and is active in groups such as Hayashi Eiichi Gatos Meeting, Akiyama Kazumasa Trial Trip, and Shunsk? G & The Peas. Bassist Shunsuke Ochi is active mainly in CRCK/LCKS, Shunsk? G & The Peas, and CICADA, and is active in various artists such as Masaki Suda, Mizuki Ohira, and SHE ISSUMMER. And at the heart of MAZIWARIS is guitarist Yuji Usui. His guitar playing, which is loud yet full of melody, is highly regarded from all quarters. In Sapporo, he mainly performs with his own trio and also frequently collaborates with visiting musicians.
