And to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the hit song "Sky High," a remix collection of "Sky High" and an original album by Jigsaw will be released all at once. About the Artist: Formed in 1966 in Coventry, West Midlands, England. Members: Des Dyer (vocals, drums), Clive Scott (keyboards), Tony Campbell (guitar), Barry Bernard (bass). Debuted in 1968, released their debut album in 1971, and have released 8 albums in total. In their early days, they were an all-around band, performing everything from bluesy rock numbers to white doo-wop and progressive rock. After that, he gained popularity with catchy pop melodies, exemplified by "Sky High." The year before his death, in 1974, his song "Who Do You Think You Are" (Japanese title: "Koi no Ayamachi") reached number 15 in the US and number 21 in the UK. The following year, 1975 (two years before it became a massive hit in Japan), he received a request through a music publisher to write the theme song for the Hong Kong-Australian co-production film "The Man From Hong Kong." He brilliantly composed and recorded the song in just three days. The world-famous hit "Sky High" was born! In October 1975, it reached number 3 in the US and number 9 in the UK, and subsequently topped the charts in Germany, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand, becoming a worldwide hit. Furthermore, in Japan, in the spring of 1977, it was used as the theme song for Mil Mascaras, a popular foreign wrestler in All Japan Pro Wrestling, and was broadcast on Nippon Television's pro wrestling coverage, becoming an even bigger hit. The song played a major role in establishing the now-classic style of professional wrestlers and their entrance music, and it remains an enduring classic that shines brightly even in the 21st century. The band continued to release works afterward and disbanded on December 31, 1981.
