Regarding this work, vocalist Enza Pagliara says: "My passion for Italian traditional music has led me to explore a repertoire of traditional music from various regions, mainly Southern Italy, for over 20 years. I thought it would be interesting for Japanese listeners to discover the differences in rhythms and melodies from various regions of Italy. For this album, I selected songs from large-scale recordings that I am familiar with. In particular, I wanted to reach many listeners by arranging and remaking traditional oral songs from Southern Italy, some of which were originally sung a cappella, in a modern way. I really wanted to convey the feelings and messages embedded in the folk songs of Southern Italy." Production of this album began immediately after the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Based on the list of songs selected by Enza, all the members consulted together to decide on the tracklist, and percussionist Luigi Morleo began the arrangement work. The arrangements were based on a well-balanced fusion of tradition and modernity. Production then came to a halt due to travel restrictions, but in 2023, this album finally took shape. "This time, I sang the traditional songs of Southern Italy with all my heart. And that feeling was sublimated into the emotion of 'singing for the Earth.'
