Introduction This is the world's only steelpan cover of Studio Ghibli works. Seven different types of steel pans are used, from low to high notes, and the composition changes for each piece. In addition to the steel pans, a keyboard harmonica, a recorder (vertical flute), and a glass harp (an instrument that produces sound by rubbing the rim of a glass with a finger) add to the ensemble. Itsumo Nandodemo (Steelpan Version) (Previously Unreleased) (Bonus Track) Media Reviews and More The steelpan, an instrument born in Trinidad and Tobago. Its relaxed and gentle, beautiful sound is the ultimate in relaxation. This work is performed by members of hsb (Hirosaki University Steelpan Club), which was formed in 2003 as Japan's first university steelpan club, released two albums from Victor in 2006 (Satie & Bach and The Beatles), and released "Okinawan Music Heard on Steelpan" in 2008. All arrangements were also handled by hsb members. For this re-release, master engineer Mitsukazu Tanaka has remastered the album, resulting in even better sound quality. The highlight is the wonderfully deep sound of the steelpan. Furthermore, previously unreleased bonus tracks have been added. Enjoy Studio Ghibli's famous songs played over a relaxed, resonant sound.
