From Vivaldi's classic Four Seasons, they play the third movement "Allegro" from Concerto No. 1 in E major, "Spring." From the works of Astor Piazzolla, who has Italian roots, they play "Spring in Buenos Aires." And from the famous opera "Cavalleria Rusticana," they play the Intermezzo. Furthermore, since the Virgin Mary is often celebrated in May, the album includes "Ave Maria," and once again, the diverse musical selections poetically convey the scenery of spring in Italy. Profiles Mauro Squillante (Mandolin): Born in Naples. He started playing the mandolin at the age of 20 and has since dedicated himself to promoting the instrument. He revived the closed Naples Mandolin Academy, and the Naples Mandolin Orchestra, comprised of talented students trained there, performs concerts all over the world. In July 2018, they made their first visit to Japan, and their performances in six locations across the country were met with great acclaim. He continues to energetically perform his own concerts and promote the mandolin. Sante Tursi (Guitar): Born in Bari, the capital of the Puglia region of Italy.
