Jungle rhythms, dub basslines, guitar sounds referencing their South Asian roots, and aggressive, high-speed rap?the combination of these elements creates a one-of-a-kind sound that continues to make them one of the world's top live bands. In the mid-90s, their live performances gained popularity in France, establishing them as an alternative to the waning Britpop. Throughout their long career, they've shared the stage with Rage Against the Machine, Beastie Boys, and Primal Scream, and collaborated with legends like Radiohead, Iggy Pop, and Chuck D. Their latest album, "Access Denied," is their most uncompromising work to date, incorporating a variety of elements from the tough jungle-punk sounds of "Stealing the Future" and "Mindlock" to the meditative orchestral sounds of "Realignment," and even reggae. About the Artist: Asian Dub Foundation | Asian Dub Foundation is a dub group formed in London, England in 1993. It consists of members of Indian and Bangladeshi descent living in the UK. In 1995, they released their debut album, "Fact and Fictions." Their unique and provocative sound, which mixes robust dub with punk and Indian music, and their lyrics advocating anti-racism and human rights from the perspective of Asians living in the UK, have attracted attention. Despite changes in members, they have continued to be active and have frequently visited Japan, including for the Fuji Rock Festival.
