Product Description
Bicep, who have captivated Jamie xx, Disclosure, and Four Tet, and have risen to become a force to be reckoned with alongside stadium-level dance acts like Underworld and The Chemical Brothers, have finally completed their latest album, "Isles"! Bicep is a unit consisting of Matt McBriar and Andy Ferguson, originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, and based in London. Starting with their legendary blog "FeelMyBicep," launched in 2008, where they introduced little-known Italo disco, house, and disco tracks, they later gained respect from DJs with their dancefloor-oriented 12-inch releases. In 2017, their self-titled debut album "Bicep," released on Ninja Tune, reached the top 20 on the UK charts, graced the cover of Mixmag, and was selected as "Album of the Year" by the magazine, catapulting them to the top of the music scene. Having achieved immense popularity in the UK, selling out shows for 10,000 people instantly, the highly anticipated new album "Isles" by the currently most talked-about band has been released. Having spent two years in production, "Isles" expands upon the expressive power of their debut album "Bicep," delving deeper into the sounds, experiences, and emotions that have influenced their lives and musical activities from their youth in Belfast to their move to London 10 years ago. The breadth of music they encountered during that period forms the album's remarkably diverse sound. The domestic CD release includes three bonus tracks and liner notes. In addition to the standard black LP, the import LP will also be available in a limited edition picture disc, a deluxe 3-disc set on transparent neon orange vinyl with the same bonus tracks as the domestic CD, and a very limited number of cassette tapes.
