A true guitarist, renowned producer, and talented multi-instrumentalist, he is a genius musician who displays a wide range of abilities! His long-awaited debut album is released in a Japan-exclusive deluxe version! He began his professional career as Sheila E.'s guitarist, and has also participated in tours with top artists such as Ry Chow, Banks, and Jennifer Hudson. Since seriously engaging in production and songwriting, he has showcased his diverse talents as a multi-instrumentalist, playing French horn, guitar, Moog synthesizer, and celesta on Jay-Z's platinum album "4:44," and composed the tracks "Sinful" and "Blood Knows" on Ry Chow's "Blood," contributing guitar, bass, and French horn throughout the entire album. Nate Marcello, who participated in six tracks on Shawn Mendes' album "Shawn Mendes," including producing the lead single "Lost In Japan" (a collaboration with Zedd that garnered much attention), and who also served as a central producer on Leon Bridges' "Good Thing" (which reached number 3 on the Billboard Top 200) and Lizzo's "Cuz I Love You" (which received a record eight Grammy nominations in 2020 and won three), has proven his hit-making prowess. While leading a busy life as a producer, he has finally created this album, "Joy Techniques." For this momentous debut album, he returned to his roots and focused on songwriting as a guitarist. With rich grooves that blend jazz, R&B, and hip-hop, burning guitar riffs and thick, psychedelic soundscapes reminiscent of Jimi Hendrix, every aspect of this album is of a high standard and highly accomplished. The title track, the lead single, features Terrace Martin, a producer at the forefront of the new generation jazz scene, on saxophone. As the making-of video for the song, currently available online, shows, this album is a lavish expression of Marcelo's love for music and his creative abilities, overflowing with the joy of musical expression, just as the title suggests. The domestic CD release will be a deluxe version, including four additional tracks on top of the nine original tracks from the LP. In conjunction with the CD release, a limited-edition LP with a rare 10-inch record will also be released.
