Brian Eno Another Day on Earth (BRC833) Japan Music CD

Product Description Brian Eno has relaunched his own label, Opal Records, and along with this, his cult classics from the 2000s, 'Another Day on Earth' and 'Drawn From Life', will be reissued in all formats, including their first-ever vinyl releases! 'Another Day on Earth' (2005) was Brian Eno's first full-fledged song-based album since 'Nerve Net' (1992), and remains highly regarded as one of his representative solo works. It features contributions from a young Jon Hopkins, as well as long-time collaborators Nell Catchpole, J. Peter Schwalm, and Leo Abrahams. The lyrics were co-written by Dutch novelist Michel Faber and American inventor Danny Hillis. Tracks like "And Then So Clear," "Caught Between," "Bottomliners," and "Bonebomb" are so popular with fans that Eno even performs them at his rare live shows. Some of these tracks were performed at his 2021 concert with Roger Eno at the UNESCO World Heritage Site Acropolis in Athens, his collaboration with Icebreaker at the 2010 Brighton Festival, and his first-ever solo live concert series, "Ships," in 2023. The grand, expansive choruses... creeping deep into the depths of memory, yet simultaneously offering moments of whispering intimacy. - The Observer (2005) A masterpiece that greatly expands Eno's universe. This solo album, his first in decades, is centered around vocals and seems to have been born from another world, like the ever-shifting "Another Green World." Until he returns to Earth, the planet he calls his home, let us simply listen to the gems of ambient pop he creates. - SPIN (2005) With breathtaking melodies and perfect production reminiscent of the Passengers era, it naturally stands alongside Eno's greatest masterpieces. It creates an ethereal soundscape that is also present in "Another Green World." - Filter (2005) 1. This 2. And Then So Clear 3. A Long Way Down 4. Going Unconscious 5. Caught Between 6.
