The rapidly rising New Wave duo Fuckers from NY releases their debut album, 'O'! Produced by Kenneth Bloom, formerly of Kenny Beats, with contributions from Dylan Brady of 100 gecs! Fuckers, who have rapidly gained recognition, being selected for BBC Radio 1's "Future Artist of the Month," BBC 6 Music's "New Music Fix Daily Next Up," and Spotify's "Artist To Watch," release their debut album, 'O' (the album title is actually an umlauted "O"), via Ninja Tune. Composed of Shani Wise (vocals) and Jackson Walker Lewis (bass/keyboards/prod), Fuckers are a hot commodity currently redefining New York's club culture, effortlessly traversing the instant appeal of dance music with post-indie sensibilities. Their 2024 EP, "Baggy$$," brought them widespread attention, and tracks like "Bon Bon" and "Homie Don't Shake" garnered critical acclaim as iconic summer tracks after their appearances at major festivals. Leading media outlets worldwide, including Apple Music's Zane Lowe, Rolling Stone, DAZED, W Magazine, New York Times, Pitchfork, NME, The Face, NYLON, PAPER, and Notion, have continued to follow their progress. Their highly anticipated debut album, "O," was produced by Kenneth Bloom (formerly Kenny Beats) and completed in just two weeks of intensive studio sessions following the trio's initial meeting last year. The mix was handled by Grammy Award-winning engineer Tom Norris, who has worked with artists such as Lady Gaga, Charli XCX, and The Weeknd. Furthermore, Dylan Brady of 100 gecs contributed additional production to four tracks on the album. [Towards becoming a leading force in 2026] Their debut album, 'O', encapsulates why Fuckers have gained support as "New York's party starters." Featuring last year's hit single "Play Me" and "I Like It Like That," which has already garnered overwhelming support as a live staple, the album as a whole unfolds like a Fuckers-style "fictional night." The flow, where exhilaration and ecstasy, chaos and liberation intertwine, makes both the physical experience of being in a club and the immersive feeling through headphones work. Sharp, muscular, and with energy that surely pierces the dance floor during peak hours?this work clearly demonstrates that they have completely mastered the sound they have honed in a short period of time and are ready to lead the scene in 2026. [From Arenas to Global Festivals] Prior to the release of this album, The Fuckers accompanied Tame Impala on their US arena tour. They received multiple compliments from Kevin Parker, and Billie Eilish visited them backstage, generating significant buzz. Furthermore, their meteoric rise continued with an Australian arena tour with Dom Dora, sold-out headline shows in NY and LA, and a surprise appearance by Beck at their LA show. Their European/UK tour also sold out every show, with thousands of people on the waiting list for their three consecutive nights in London. They also opened for LCD Soundsystem's 12-show residency at the Knockdown Center in NY, and were selected to support tours for Haim, Justice, Disclosure, and Confidence Man. At festivals, they have performed in front of packed audiences on some of the world's most prestigious stages, including Coachella, Lollapalooza, Glastonbury, Primavera Sound, Outside Lands, and Portola. [Support from the Fashion/Culture Scene] Fuckers have transcended the boundaries of music, establishing themselves as cultural icons through appearances at Celine parties at the invitation of Hedi Slimane, collaborations with Mike D (Beastie Boys) at the opening of the Louis Vuitton "100 years in NYC" store in Manhattan, and DJ sets at Charli XCX's Coachella after-party. The release of this album, "O," marks a culmination of Fuckers' journey, which has spanned clubs, arenas, festivals, and the fashion and art worlds, while also serving as a new starting point for them to step onto an even bigger stage. This work will strongly impress upon the audience that they are not just a fleeting movement, but a force that will shape the atmosphere of the next era. 01. Beatback 02. L.U.C.K.Y 03.
