The third track on the album, "Blue Train Lines," is a song that encapsulates the band's evolution, with a dynamic rhythm section and King Cruel's bluesy rap vocals developing into emotional screams, earning it Pitchfork's Best New Track award. Since Dom Maker moved from London to the West Coast of the United States in 2016, they have been traveling back and forth between the two cities, engaging in energetic sessions together, which has brought an open and liberating aura to the entire album. Furthermore, for this album, photographer Mark Lebon, a member of the legendary fashion collective Buffalo, which had a tremendous influence on the UK fashion scene in the 80s, and who has worked for numerous fashion magazines, and his son Frank Lebon participated in the production of the music video and album artwork. This is a confident new statement from them, who are always pushing the boundaries, and at the same time, it is a work that can be said to be the culmination of their entire career up to this point. About the Artist Mount Kimbie Mount Kimbie is comprised of Dominic Maker and Kai Campos. James Blake was once a live member of Mount Kimbie, and they have played a central role in the electronic music scene, which reached a turning point when the term "post-dubstep" became widely recognized. Campos grew up in Cornwall. Maker grew up in Brighton. The two met in a student dormitory while attending South Bank University in London, and their bond deepened through their growing passion for electronic music?particularly the emerging dubstep sound. Since appearing on the scene in 2009, Mount Kimbie has repeatedly defied expectations, transforming from a bedroom studio producer to a creator who has released one of the most accomplished electronic albums in recent years, and growing into a leading figure in post-dubstep.
