Along with the currently rapidly rising Enforcer, White Wizzard, Steel Horse, Cauldron, Mean Streak, and others, they are sure to become a core part of the scene! A must-listen for all 80's orthodox HM fans. About the Artist Striker, a heavy metal band from Edmonton, Canada, rose to prominence with their 2010 release "Eyes In The Night." They are considered one of the top-tier newcomers in the scene over the past decade. Formed in 2007 by Ian and Dan, the band released their debut EP "Road Warrior" in the summer of 2008 with a complete lineup. The band received an offer for a European tour, including festivals in Spain and Germany, but had to cancel due to the 2010 Eyjafjallaj?kull volcanic eruption, much to their disappointment. Their debut album, "Eyes In The Night," released afterward, received high praise from around the world, and the band shared the stage with Sacrifice, 3 Inches of Blood, Raven, and Sodom, and embarked on a Canadian tour. In early 2011, they also managed a European tour. Now, with their long-awaited second album, "Armed To The Teeth," marking their worldwide debut, they are once again poised to break into the scene. Armed with youthful, aggressive energy, their music is a perfect blend of speed, fierce riffs, fluid guitar solos, and high-pitched shouts, hitting all the right notes. This is true metal, captivating with its furious, driving energy! Influenced by originators like Saxon, Iron Maiden, Racer X, King Diamond, Vicious Rumors, Helloween, Crimson Glory, Judas Priest, Annihilator, Exciter, and Scorpions, they project the essence of these bands into their album, brilliantly imbuing it with their own unique style. Breathing the spirit of the 80s, they pass it on to the present day with new energy. Fully armed with traditional heavy metal, Striker has raised the banner for even greater success. In addition to the new album, the first pressing includes their debut album "Eyes In The Night," which introduced them to the public, and the rare EP "Road Warrior" as a bonus disc.
