KNOCKED LOOSE is currently one of the most popular and influential hardcore bands not only in their home country but globally, showcasing the immense potential of hardcore!! Their sound, rooted in the tough beatdown style, is mixed with hardcore/metal elements in a catchy, heavy groove-filled, and incredibly original way. Packed with everything that today's kids demand from hardcore/metal, their long-awaited second full-length album, "A DIFFERENT SHADE OF BLUE," reaches the next level and becomes an icon of the scene that transcends the boundaries of hardcore!! (KOBA from LOYAL TO THE GRAVE/ BLOODAXE FESTIVAL organizer) This album, their first to be released in Japan, once again features Will Putney (EVERY TIME I DIE, COUNTERPARTS, vein), who worked on their hit album "Laugh Tracks," as producer, and features guest vocals from Keith Buckley of EVERY TIME I DIE and Emma Boster of Portland-based female-fronted hardcore band DYING WISH. It seamlessly blends brutal yet groovy mid-tempo sections with thrash-metal-esque fast parts, resulting in the ultimate, cutting-edge metallic hardcore punk album! The Japanese edition includes bonus tracks: a cover of THE WARRIORS from their latest EP "Mistakes Like Fractures" and a re-recorded version of "All My Friends," one of the band's signature songs also featured on "Pop Culture."
