Catbug says that he began observing wild birds after being given binoculars as a gift, and that he received a lot of inspiration from this, which led him to create new songs. \"Birds always cheer me up and inspire me with their strange habits and songs. They appeal to the inner child within me.\" (Catbug) As with the previous album, Aiko Devriendt handled production and mixing. The recording took place in a studio owned by pianist Guy Van Nuyten. In order to maintain an unadorned, raw atmosphere, the arrangement naturally became simple, but the music became richer as the number of sounds decreased. The result is a unique and dreamy indie folk work that is reminiscent of Joni Mitchell and Jessica Pratt. Like the previous album, this is an album that I would recommend to all good music listeners.
