After Robb Flynn, who would later form MACHINE HEAD, joined the band, they released their timeless masterpiece 1st album \"Eternal Nightmare\" (1988), solidifying their popularity and position. They released three studio albums before disbanding in 1993. Entering the 2000s, the band made occasional comebacks for benefits and one-off live shows, and leader Phil Demmel (G) joined Machine Head, before officially reforming in 2019. Since then, they have continued to tour and participate in festivals alongside veteran thrash bands. This album is their landmark debut, released in 1988. It was released on Mechanic, a sub-label of major label MCA, which would later handle Dream Theater and Voivod. It was a best-of debut album featuring a selection of the best tracks from their previously released demos, and it was a very successful start that attracted a lot of attention due to its popularity at the time. However, due to their contract with the label, distribution was poor after the band broke up, and it remained out of print for a long time.
