After that, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Akiko Yano participated in Hiromi Uehara's \"SAVE LIVE MUSIC\" live series, which aimed to help the live music industry, and they performed together on stage. Eight years after their previous recording live (September 2016), Akiko Yano and Hiromi Uehara held their third collaborative recording live, \"Akiko Yano x Hiromi Uehara Recording Live in Tokyo ~Step Into Paradise~,\" at Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall on September 24th and 25th. The heated piano session recorded there, where their mutual inspirations clash at a high level, has been released as a live album.
