This became the starting point for his career as a professional musician. In 1972, he joined \"Sadistic Mika Band\" as a guitarist. Although the band disbanded, he continued to perform as a member of the later formed \"Sadistics.\" In 1976, he made his solo debut with \"Seychelles.\" Since then, he has released many famous songs on his solo albums, including \"Ready To Fly\" and \"Blue Lagoon.\" \"Rainbow Legend,\" released in 1981, is a particularly representative work and a masterpiece that remains in the history of Japanese instrumental music. He has collaborated on albums and live performances with overseas musicians such as Lee Ritenour, Santana, Narada Michael Walden, Sheila E., and other big-name LA musicians. His solo career continued through Kitty Records and Toshiba EMI, before he established his own label, \"Lagoon Records,\" in 2000. Since then, they have been actively touring nationwide every year.
