Released their 1st album \"WALLS OF JERICHO\" in 1985. Made their Japanese debut in 1987 with their 2nd album \"KEEPER OF THE SEVEN KEYS - Pt.1,\" featuring full-time singer Michael Kiske. They held their first concert in Japan in the fall of the same year. Released \"KEEPER OF THE SEVEN KEYS - Pt.2\" in 1988, which included the timeless hit \"Eagle Fly Free.\" They became incredibly popular in Japan, but Kai Hansen left the band the following year, 1989. Kiske left in 1994 and was replaced by Andy Deris. Their masterpiece 6th album, \"MASTER OF THE RINGS,\" sold 100,000 copies in Japan, and their 7th album, \"THE TIME OF THE OATH,\" released in 1996, sold 200,000 copies.
