Talas, the American hard rock band that world-renowned rock bassist Billy Sheehan was a part of before joining DAVID LEE ROTH BAND and MR.BIG, makes a miraculous comeback with their first studio album in 40 years, featuring outstanding melodies and hard rock, since their 2nd album \"Sink Your Teeth Into That,\" released in 1982! Of course, Billy participates in this album as both leader and bassist. Singer Phil Nallo, who joined the band for the 1984 live album \"Live Speed ??On Ice,\" delivers his smooth vocals on this album as well, but sadly passed away from cancer in 2021. This has become his posthumous work. The drummer is Mark Millar, who, like Phil, joined the band for 'Live Speed ??On Ice'. The guitarist is Kia Nadjofski, who joined in the 2010s. In addition to guest appearances by Mitch Perry, who also played guitar on 'Live Speed ??On Ice', Phil's son James participated in the recording as a backing vocalist. Except for the song \"Black And Blue,\" the songs were composed around 1985. Billy deliberately chose not to alter the tracks or arrange them in a modern style, recording them exactly as they were when they were written. \"We wanted to create a snapshot of our musical lives back in 1985. With the same feelings and almost the same lineup, we brought the '80s into 2022. The '80s were a great time for music and rock bands, so we were all excited to go back there. I think this album is raw, real, honest, and uplifting.\" The album was recorded in Mark Millar's living room using mobile recording equipment, and mixed and mastered by Canadian Russ McKay, who has also worked with STYX and FOREIGNER. Includes a bonus track on the Japanese edition. A cover of \"Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood,\" written in 1964 and first recorded that same year by singer and pianist Nina Simone, and subsequently played by many musicians including The Animals. Taras's cover this time is the version that Gary Moore included on his 1983 album \"Dirty Fingers.\" 1. Inner Mounting Flame 2. I'll Take The Night 3. Crystal Clear 4. Don't Try To Stop Me Tonight 5.
