4589767514273
THE ROLLING STONES the COMPLETE STONES #7 Japan Music CD

Product Description
All of the Rolling Stones' official recordings are included in chronological order! Unreleased songs, alternate versions, and glorious history revealed in Volume 7! 19th Nervous Breakdown! A new Stones sound emerges in the mid-60s. This is the 7th volume of the Rolling Stones' epic project to collect all of their recordings. This 7th installment of the series, which has delivered all of their recordings in chronological order from before their debut, begins with the sessions for the album "Aftermath," which started in December 1965. After finishing their final North American tour performance on December 5th, they immediately gathered at RCA Studios on the 8th to begin recording for their next single, "19th Nervous Breakdown," and the album "Aftermath." Jagger & Richards wrote original songs, which became hits and brought them worldwide popularity, but Brian, having lost his direction in mastering the blues, gradually stopped playing guitar. This displeased Keith. "He would come to the studio and not play guitar, just stare blankly for hours and be useless. But then he would show up two days later and suddenly start playing beautiful music on the harpsichord." Thus, Brian's genius began to manifest itself in unexpected ways. This led to the creation of some of the Rolling Stones' most iconic performances of the mid-period, such as "Out of Time" and "Lady Jane," featuring Brian on marimba and dulcimer. Jagger and Richards' songwriting also entered a new phase. "Mother's Little Helper" tackled taboo subjects, singing about a mother's drug abuse, while "19th Nervous Breakdown" coldly rejected a spoiled girl. The sharp, direct approach of Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone," which competed with them on the charts that summer, likely influenced their approach. Integrating the darkness of everyday life and social hatred into lyrics was unprecedented in previous hit songs and pop music. Ultimately, breaking free from the constraints of the blues, the album "Aftermath" was completed with all original tracks, pioneering a cutting edge of rock and pop. This CD thoroughly covers recordings made during the busy tour and the production of "Aftermath," mostly in chronological order. The 11-minute version of "Goin' Home" includes a chat (conversation) at the beginning. Also included are the still-unreleased blues number "Looking Tired," and album-unreleased tracks "Ride on Baby," "Sitting on a Fence," and "Sad Day," all recorded in chronological order. Hard-to-find tracks are also included, such as "Stu Ball," the only solo single by Ian Stewart (piano), the sixth member of the Stone who featured Keith and Bill, and Chris Farlowe's "Think," featuring Mick on backing vocals.
