A lively club at the end of the year, a floor overflowing with drunken patrons, and the sounds of laughter echoing through the air. The Beatles, fresh off the hit \"Love Me Do,\" even provide backing music for the MC. New songs like \"I Saw Her Standing There\" and \"Ask Me Why,\" and a passionate performance of numerous classic rock and roll covers. Recent research suggests that this recording was made over four days (December 21st, 25th, 28th, and 31st) by the club manager on four reels. In the past, numerous titles have been released by both major and minor labels, touted as \"complete versions,\" with around 30 tracks officially released. However, due to rights issues, the track listings differed in the UK, US, and Japan, and excessive editing rearranged the MC's position and even the song order, resulting in releases that were similar to, but not quite, the original recording. In the case of \"Hully Gully,\" it's even credited to the Beatles despite being performed by the Rebel Rousers. The release itself was deemed invalid, leading to a lawsuit from Apple, and the Star Club recordings were sealed and left in the depths of a warehouse. While the sound quality, recorded on a home tape recorder, is certainly not great, it captures the Beatles as the world's greatest pub band. This time, the recordings have been captured in their entirety from a reliable master. They have been remastered to be as close to the original state and sound quality as possible, while also being easy to listen to. It will be released with a total of 37 tracks, a significant change from the 30 Beatles songs previously released. Furthermore, to better convey the atmosphere of the live performance in the club, which was bustling from New Year's Eve to the New Year, bonus tracks of the opening act, the Dominoes, and even the infamous Rebel Rousers have been included. The Beatles had already made their debut and were on their way to stardom. However, their manager, Brian Epstein, ordered the Beatles to fulfill the Star Club performance contract that had been signed before they became famous. And so, in 1962, the Beatles' final Hamburg tour took place. And this miraculous tape was preserved.
