We're all very proud that this album is finished, and we're looking forward to the next one.\" Main songwriter and co-guitarist Mike Orlando added, \"This band's songwriting incorporates many elements that everyone has explored in other bands,\" indicating that the band's songwriting is infused with input from each member's previous bands. The first track, \"In Stitches,\" in particular, is a super metal number that sets the direction for the band! It features intense twin bass drums, fierce thrash-like passages, cutting lead guitar, and John Bush's overwhelming vocals. The band name, CATEGORY 7, comes from the most powerful storm (usually there are only five). The band was formed when Phil and Orlando met and hit it off, and then Jack and Jason joined. John Bush was the last to join, as all four members wanted him and there were no other options. With the final piece in place, recording took place primarily at Mike Orlando's recording studio, where he produced, engineered, mixed, and mastered the album. He said, \"Everyone had the same vision and was fully prepared, so there were no problems.
