As the original working title was \"The Cult II,\" it is full of elements that make it a sequel to the previous album, \"The Cult.\" The album's worldview is influenced by H.P. Lovecraft, the father of American horror fiction, and the album artwork, like that of \"The Cult,\" was created by Guatemalan artist Mario Lopez. Due to the departure of bassist Poazey Grigel, singer Marta also plays bass on the album, and in \"Fever Of The Gods,\" for which a music video was produced, Marta delivers an energetic performance as both bassist and vocalist. (It is expected that she will play guitar and a bassist will be added for the tour). The band's other hallmark, the impenetrable twin guitars of Andy Wave and Eric Uris, are also at their best ever. Eric Uris, one of the twin guitarists, was selected as the lead guitarist for WARLORD's latest album \"Free Spirit Soar,\" which was released by Rubicon Music and for which a Japan tour has been confirmed, and he delivers a wonderful guitar performance that is reminiscent of the late William J. Tzammis, and is also a member of the band touring in Japan. This album, which could be called the culmination of the band's work and contains a gem of a metal number that reigns supreme among all their songs to date, is Crystal Viper's best heavy metal masterpiece of the year!
