Warlord, the kings of American epic metal, releases their final tribute album to the late William! Formed in California in 1980, their 1983 debut album, 'Deliver Us', and the subsequent live album 'And The Cannons Of Destruction Have Begun...' created a passionate following and established them as a cult band. Centered around band leader and guitarist William J. Tzammis and drummer Mark Zonder, they established a cult following not only in the United States but also in Europe. In 2002, with Joachim of Hammerfall as the singer, they released their comeback album, 'Rising Out Of The Ashes'. After another nine-year silence, they made another comeback in 2011, releasing 'The Holy Empire' (2013). In 2015, they released 'The Hunt For Damien', a re-recording of their past hits, and since then, there has been no news from them. Just as expectations were high for a comeback as the champions of epic metal, news suddenly broke in 2021 that William J. Tzammis, who had been in poor health for some time, had passed away. It seemed as though WARLORD's history had come to an end. However, Mark and singer Giles Lavery, who had been involved with the band since 2015, reconstructed the recordings and other materials William had left behind, completing a new WARLORD album to commemorate his legacy. The album's songs are so full of \"WARLORD-ness\" that any WARLORD fan will feel as if he is right there, and they will undoubtedly be moved to tears. Then, in September, WARLORD performed their first and last concert in Japan, a performance that William was unable to fulfill.
