Both EPs have been remastered for this reissue. Additionally, 'Boundary Road Snacks and Drinks' will be released simultaneously on cassette for the first time. In March 2018, they recorded their six-track debut EP, 'Sweet Princess', in just one day at Total Refreshment Centre with producer Christian Craig Robinson. Two months later, in May 2018, the band played their first live show at Shacklewell Arms in Dalston, and released the EP in August of the same year. 'Sweet Princess' was a shocking debut, featuring frantic, restless instrumentation and Florence Shaw's biting vocals, delivering witty observations and social commentary in a satirical collage. Two months later, they released the six-track EP, \"Boundary Road Snacks and Drinks.\" This EP was named as a tribute to the band's rehearsal space in South London (Sidcup), the family home of bassist Louis Maynard, and also pays tribute to the home cooking of Maynard's mother, Susan, who supported the four members between sessions. Featuring singles such as \"Sit Down Meal\" and \"Viking Hair,\" \"Boundary Road Snacks and Drinks\" is a powerful companion to \"Sweet Princess.\" Both albums share a similar overflowing energy. This is perhaps unsurprising, given that they were born in the same environment in which these EPs were created, and that environment had a significant influence on the band's formative years.
