When they supported New Order on their European tour in 1984, the band changed its name to Shark Vegas along with a change in members. Because they mainly performed live, there were only two official releases, both 12-inch records, but the recordings were mixed by Krautrock originator Conny Plank. Later, Bernard Sumner of New Order also remixed the track, and it was released as two different 12-inch EPs by Factory Records in the UK and Totenkopf in Germany. This CD is a Japan-exclusive compilation album containing 15 tracks, including official recordings from the two 12-inch EPs and compilation albums, plus unreleased tracks such as live recordings and demos. Later, with the development of synthesizers, their playing style gradually shifted towards a more uptempo and danceable form. In 1984, they were chosen as the support act for New Order's European tour, and it was at this opportunity that they changed their name to Shark Vegas.
