Endtitles Artist Profile J?rgen Schweighart, a member of the band Blindg?nger, which left behind only one single and an independent cassette, left the band and started his solo career in 1981, calling himself V2 Schneider, after a song on David Bowie's masterpiece \"Heroes.\" During his activity in the 1980s, he released more than 10 independent cassette works and temporarily ceased activities in 1985. At the time, he was an artist known only to a select few, but he was re-evaluated during the obscure punk rediscovery boom of the 2000s, and many of his past recordings were reissued on vinyl. His cutting-edge and astonishing sound has received tremendous praise from discerning listeners.
