(C)RS\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eAbout the Artist: Formed in 2008 in Long Island, New York, by five members who were all playing in different bands: vocalist Andrea Estella (who also works as an actress, having been cast in the film adaptation of the popular TV drama series 'Veronica Mars'), bassist Gabe D'Amico, drummer Bryan Ujueta, keyboardist Dev \"Udbhav\" Gupta, and guitarist\/vocalist Eric Cardona. Initially performing under the name Twin Sister, Bryan Ujueta has since left, and the band is now a four-piece. Shortly after their formation, they released their first EP, 'Vampires with Dreaming Kids'. After their first live performance at SXSW and tours with tUnE-YarDs and Xiu Xiu, they released their second EP, \"Color Your Life,\" on Infinite Best. In 2011, they signed with Domino Records and released their first album, \"In Heaven.\" Their split single with Luyas, \"Meet The Frownies,\" released on Dead Oceans, gained attention when it was sampled in Kendrick Lamar's \"The Recipe Ft. Dr. Dre.\" While their career was progressing smoothly, in 2013 Andrea was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and suffered a car accident while on tour in Tallahassee, Florida.
