He has previously released works on White Material, a core label in New York's underground dance music scene run by Young Male and DJ Richard, and his own label, Lustwerk Music, but \"Information\" is his first work on Ghostly International, a long-established electronic music label. This album blends a half-dreamlike nightlife with secret rendezvous in ghetto clubs, edited together like faded memories. For its release on Ghostly, the Midwestern artist felt it best to compile Midwest-style hook-heavy tracks, aiming to express the bittersweet taste often found in the works of other producers from his region. Stylistically, it's an extension of his previous sound, but the heavy use of live drums and jazz saxophone creates a new dynamism. He released his debut EP \"Tape 22\" in 2013 on White Material, founded by Young Male and DJ Richard. His subsequent mix \"100% Galcher,\" released on Blowing Up The Workshop, an experimental mixtape project featuring Yaeji, Helm, CFCF, Ben UFO, and others, was selected as Resident Advisor's best online mix of the year, catapulting him to the center of New York's underground dance music scene. The following year, he released two EPs, \"Nu Day\" and \"Remixes,\" on Tsuba Records. In 2015, he launched his own label, Lustwerk Music, and released the EPs 'I Neva Seen' and 'Parlay'. In 2017, he released his first album, 'Dark Bliss', on White Material, and the following year, 2018, he released his second album, '200% Galcher', on his own Lustwerk Music label. He is respected by various artists and plays a central role in the beatdown and hip-house scene.
