This second album, titled \"Arkanum,\" is noteworthy above all for the luxurious lineup of participating members. The vocals are by Ronnie Romero, currently one of the busiest singers in the heavy metal world. The list of bands he's been a part of is endless, from Rainbow and the Michael Schenker Group to Vandenberg and Destinia. On drums is Michael Ehre, who has also played in numerous other bands including Gamma Ray and Primal Fear. On bass is Anis Juigny of Myras. On guitar is Timo Somers, formerly of Derain. Furthermore, the album was produced by Sascha Peet, known for his work with Avantasia. With a lineup like this, there's no way this could be anything but top-notch. This is the finest power metal. The melodies, symphonic arrangements, and performances are all first-class. Needless to say, the quality of the vocals is exceptional.
