With their heavy sound featuring female vocals and death growls, a truly European style, they gained popularity and signed with Black Lodge Records in their home country of Sweden. In 2018, they released their second album, \"Until the End,\" and in 2020, their third album, \"Dancing in Hell.\" It was Atomic Fire Records that took notice of them. This is a new label founded by Markus Steiger, the founder of Nuclear Blast. The EP being released by Atomic Fire is titled \"Acoustic in Hell.\" As the title suggests, it features acoustic arrangements of Elaine's previous songs. The inspiration came from an acoustic tour they did with Sonata Arctica. Ricardo says they \"tried not to lose the essence of metal,\" but even without distorted guitars, Elaine is still Elaine. In fact, with all the embellishments removed, Madeline's melodies are laid bare, and the inherent quality of the songs is brought to the forefront.
