Don't miss these masterpieces, which are essential for understanding the origins of Belphegor! Belphegor, the devil born in Austria. Their formation dates back to 1992. Just as the black metal scene was rising in Scandinavia, Belphegor was born. After releasing a demo and a 7\" EP, they made their album debut with \"The Last Supper\" (1995). They continued to release evil albums like \"Brute Sabbath\" (1997) and \"Necrodaemon Terrorsathan\" (2000). Their thoroughly evil sound and stage presence garnered them immense popularity, leading them to sign with Austrian label Napalm Records, releasing two albums: \"Lucifer Incestus\" (2003) and \"Goatreich - Fleshcult\" (2005). Later, they signed with Europe's largest label, Nuclear Blast, solidifying their position as one of the world's top black\/death metal bands. They made their first visit to Japan in 2014 with Loud Park, and returned the following year with White Empress, ignoring a contract clause prohibiting the use of real pig's blood. Legend has it that vocalist Helmut declared, \"The ritual can't be performed without real blood.\" Now, Belphegor's debut album, \"The Last Supper,\" and their second album, \"Brute Sabbath,\" are being reissued as a double album. The former was originally released on Lethal Records and the latter on Last Episode, both underground labels, but now Nuclear Blast is re-releasing them. \"The Last Supper\" still shows strong influences from death metal bands like Cannibal Corpse and Morbid Angel, while \"Brute Sabbath\" takes on a much more black metal sound. It's fascinating to experience their early evolution. These two albums have been reborn even more powerful and aggressive after being remastered. Don't miss this masterpiece, an important work for understanding the origins of Belphegor!
