4582546591120
The Night Flight Orchestra Aeromantic Japan Music CD Bonus Tracks

Product Description
Contents: The Night Flight Orchestra, a classic rock project featuring Bj?rn Strid of Soilwork and Shirley D'Angelo of Arch Enemy, presents their fifth album, "Aeromantic." This album showcases the band's further evolution, with nostalgic sounds reminiscent of the 70s and 80s, catchy melodies, and a deeper understanding of their sound. The Night Flight Orchestra began when Bj?rn Strid (vocals) and David Anderson (guitar) of Soilwork reminisced about old rock music during a US tour in 2006. While they began creating demos together, they also searched for other members, eventually finding Shirley D'Angelo (bass) of Arch Enemy, Jonas Carlsbach (drums) of Mean Streak, and Richard Larson (keyboards), a childhood friend of Bj?rn's. Due to scheduling conflicts among the members, the band needed some time to prepare, but they recorded their debut album, "INTERNAL AFFAIRS" (2012), in 2012. Their music, which incorporates elements of 70s and 80s pop, rock, and hard rock, is clearly different from the music of the bands the members belong to, and they successfully showcase their individuality as a band with catchy vocal melodies and a nostalgic sound using keyboards. They gradually began performing live from 2013, and in 2014, Sebastian Forslund (guitar/percussion) joined the band. The band, now a six-member group, energetically produced albums, releasing their second album "SKYLINE WHSPERS" (2015), third album "Amber Galactic" (2017), and fourth album "Sometimes the World Ain't Enough" (2018), and in 2018 they also embarked on a European tour. The album they finally completed after much anticipation is "Aeromantic." Starting with the speed tune "Servants of the Air," which features progressive rock-style keyboards, this album features a series of upbeat numbers, ranging from hard rock to disco beats, power ballads, and dazzling synthesizers, all reminiscent of songs that were on the UK and US hit charts in the late 70s and 80s. A characteristic of this band is the melancholic feel that permeates every song, and the album gives the impression of being more dynamic than ever before. With this album, which shows the band's evolution, there is no doubt that The Nightflight Orchestra will further expand their fanbase.
