Nine early albums, including the only album by their predecessor band Avenger, \"Players of Steel\" (1985), and three titles from their trio era with Victor Smolski, have been newly remastered in 2019 and are being re-released with bonus discs and bonus tracks depending on the title! \"Execution Guaranteed\" This is their 3rd album (original release: 1987), showcasing their unique style with arrangements that incorporate acoustic guitars and progressive elements, based on thrash metal\/power metal style music. The re-release of 12 titles from the back catalog of Rage Against the Machine, a heavyweight in the German metal scene, has been decided. First, the initial nine titles are the only album by their predecessor band, Avenger, \"Player's of Steel\" (1985), and the first nine albums released after they changed their name to Rage, from \"Reign of Fear\" (1986) to \"Ten Years in Rage\" (1994). Avenger was formed in Herne, Germany in 1984. Their debut album, \"Player's of Steel\" (1985), released with four members including Peter \"Peavy\" Wagner (bass\/vocals) and J?rg Michael (drums), featured power metal influenced by the NWOBHM, but their first album after changing their name to Rage, \"Reign of Fear\" (1986), introduced thrash metal style songs. Furthermore, with their third album, \"Execution Guaranteed\" (1987), they developed a unique style with arrangements that incorporated acoustic guitar and progressive rock elements. Soon after, all members except Peavy left, and the band, now a trio with Manni Schmidt (guitar) and Chris Efthimiadis (drums), released their fourth album, \"Perfect Man\" (1988). This album, which included \"Don't Fear the Winter,\" strongly emphasized a melodic side in addition to sharp playing and aggression. They then released their fifth album, \"Secrets in a Weird World\" (1989), which included the speed tune \"Invisible Horizons,\" and their sixth album, \"Reflections of a Shadow\" (1990), which included the speedy and catchy \"Saddle the Wind,\" and the band gradually gained recognition. Their seventh album, \"Trapped!\" (1992), saw an overall power-up and a more refined style, featuring tracks like \"Shame on You\" with its Arabian-inspired melody, the speed metal number \"Solitary Man,\" and the catchy \"Enough Is Enough.\" Their eighth album, \"The Missing Link\" (1993), produced classics like \"Nevermore\" and \"Refuge,\" making them a popular band in Japan as well. However, Manni, whose tasteful guitar playing was highly regarded, left the band in 1994. With the addition of Sven Fischer (guitar) and Chris's brother, Spiros Eftimiadis (guitar), the band became a four-piece. To commemorate their 10th anniversary, they released their ninth album, \"Ten Years in Rage\" (1994), which included previously unreleased songs written by Peavy and a medley of previously released tracks. These are the nine early titles being reissued. After releasing five albums with the same members, Peavy sought a change for the band and started a new trio with former Mind Odyssey member Victor Smolski (guitar) and Mike Terrana (drums), known for his work with Tony MacAlpine and Yngwie Malmsteen. Their second album (16th overall), \"Unity\" (2002), released with this lineup, showcased melodic metal incorporating Victor's advanced songwriting abilities and technical guitar playing, honed through a rigorous musical education. The album featured uptempo tracks like \"Insanity,\" as well as more sophisticated pieces such as \"Dies Irae,\" which incorporated a choir. Their 17th album, \"Soundchaser\" (2003), also featured a collection of dynamic, melodic, and lively songs, including the title track \"Soundchaser,\" and the album was well-received. Furthermore, a live album, \"From the Cradle to the Stage\" (2004), recorded at their January 2004 German performance during their European tour following the album's release, was also released, and its powerful and technical performance garnered much attention. These three albums make up the remaining three titles, bringing the total to 12 titles being reissued this time. All titles use the latest 2019 remastered audio, and some titles also include bonus discs and bonus tracks. All of these are essential works in Rage Against the Machine's history, and the lineup allows listeners to rediscover their appeal.
