{"product_id":"4580783650716","title":"David Cross, Robert Fripp Starless Starlight Dark Star Beauty (UHQCD) Japan Music CD","description":"Product Description\n\"Starless,\" a track from King Crimson's last studio album of the 1970s, \"Red,\" is the subject of a 2015 ambient album, \"Starless Starlight,\" based on a melody composed by David Cross, the 70s King Crimson violinist, and Robert Fripp, the pioneer of progressive rock. This album is now being reissued in a UHQCD paper sleeve! In April 2014, Robert Fripp, who had announced his retirement, announced the return of King Crimson on their website. With Mel Collins returning, Jakko Jakszyk taking over guitar and vocals from Adrian Belew, Tony Levin on bass and stick, and triple drums, the seven-member lineup began rehearsals and activities. And one of the two ambient albums released before the tour is this album, \"Starless Starlight.\" It was released in 2015 as a special collaboration with David Cross, who left the band after the 1974 North American tour, more than 40 years later. As the songs are mainly composed of the main theme from the famous song \"Starless,\" it is more accessible than Robert Fripp's previous Soundscape works. It also includes a translation of an interview with David Cross (from 2015). This is the first domestic release of this must-have paper-sleeve UHQCD for fans. \u003cproduct specifications\u003e *E-style double paper jacket *David Cross interview (as of 2015) with translation and Japanese commentary *UHQCD Disc 1: 1.
