This edition includes extra tracks, including demos and live recordings, in addition to the original album. In 1993, Ben Watt returned from ill health with the EP \"New York Boy\" (a cover of Simon \u0026amp; Garfunkel). The following year, 1994, saw the release of \"Amplified Heart,\" which depicted the hardships and disappointments of his time in the hospital. Characterized by sparkling folktronica, it features guest appearances from folk-rock veterans such as Danny Thompson. It distances itself from the lavish sound of its predecessor, creating a simple yet effective soundscape. The collection of single B-sides and 8 live tracks are being released domestically for the first time.
