4571655391127
SEGA Sound Team, Koi Fighting Vipers - 30th Anniv. Album - Japan Music CD

Product Description
??Arcade & Sega Saturn Version | 30th Anniversary Celebration Edition?? A new legend's prelude, supervised by Fighting Vipers Director Hiroshi Kataoka. ~Includes an Arr Ver. by Koichi "Mickey" Namiki (formerly of S.S.T.BAND/B-univ) as a Special Bonus Track!~ In 1995, Sega released Fighting Vipers, a 3D fighting game themed around "futuristic cage deathmatches popular among delinquent boys and girls," in arcades. To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the arcade version in November 2025, and the 30th anniversary of the Sega Saturn version in 2026, a celebratory edition is being released! This album consists of 37 tracks across two CDs. DISC-1 contains 17 tracks from the arcade version released in November 1995. DISC-2 contains 18 tracks from the Sega Saturn port released in August 1996. The production team for these Official Sound tracks includes Fumio Ito as sound producer and Takeshi Mitsuyoshi as sound director from the SEGA Sound Team. For the two arrangement tracks that are the highlights of this album, Koichi "Mickey" Namiki, former leader of S.S.T.BAND/B-univ and a familiar name to longtime Sega fans, was brought in. At the beginning of DISC-1 is "Fighting Vipers Prelude -Mickey Ver. 2025-," a medley-style overture that continues the immersive feeling of the early stages of the game, and at the end of DISC-2 is "Viper Venom If it is Long -Mickey Arr Ver. 2025-," which is an expression of what the opening theme would sound like if it were a Long Version, as a Special Bonus Track. Furthermore, the booklet includes behind-the-scenes stories about the creation of "Fighting Vipers" from Hiroshi Kataoka (currently Executive Officer and Head of Technology Division at Sega Corporation), who served as director for the arcade and Sega Saturn versions, as well as comments from Koichi "Mickey" Namiki, including anecdotes about composer David Leytze and explanations of the arranged music. Relive the "Prelude to a New Legend" through music, supervised by FV Director Hiroshi Kataoka! ~ ?sRecorded songs?t [DISC-1] Fighting Vipers [ ARCADE: MODEL2B ] ??SOUND!
