Set in modern times, it depicts the struggles of Akubi, the daughter of the Great Demon King, as she trains under Kantaro Yodayama, the grandson of Kan-chan (Kanichi Yodayama), the Great Demon King's previous master. The music was created by Takamitsu Shimazaki, Yu Sasaki, and Teppei Shimizu, all active in the J-POP scene. Takamitsu Shimazaki has provided and produced music for numerous artists such as SMAP, A.B.C-Z, AKB48, and SKE48, and has also worked as a music producer, director, and master recording producer for dramas, anime, games, stage plays, and commercials. Hiroshi Sasaki's arrangement of AKB48's \"Labrador Retriever\" won the Excellent Work Award at the 56th Japan Record Awards. He has also provided music for numerous anime and game soundtracks, and in recent years has worked on arrangements for artists such as Urashimasakatasen and Mafumafu. Teppei Shimizu's arrangement of AKB48's \"365 Nichi no Kamihikouki\" won the Excellent Work Award at the 58th Japan Record Awards. He made his major debut as a member of the three-member band \"THYME\" (now disbanded), and currently works as a composer and arranger, creating classic, high-quality music that makes the most of guitar sounds.
